Cattle seek relief from the heat Thursday by taking refuge in a shady area along Johnson Road in Springdale. High heat and no rain are causing pastures to bake, ponds to dry up and driving up the cost of feed. Farmers are having to make some tough decisions about their herds and some are choosing to sell off cattle instead of buying hay.
