Tyler Anderson, left, watershed specialist intern, and Courtney Thomas, conservation intern for Beaver Watershed Alliance, cut the seed heads off of Johnson grass on Tuesday night at the White River Stream Bank Restoration site near the Noland Wastewater Treatment Plant off Fox Hunter Road in Fayetteville. Cutting invasive plants and further maintenance was possible through the Watershed Conservation Resource Center in partnership with Fayetteville, CH2M Hill and the Beaver Watershed Alliance through an Environmental Protection Agency and Arkansas Natural Resources commission grant.
