Artists Adam Crosson, left, and Robert Lemming present their site-specific sculpture “18 Verticals, 70 Horizontals” near the Fine Arts Building on campus at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. The piece began as a collaborative class assignment for Crosson and Lemming, both sculpture students at the time, and was funded in part by local donors, the Contemporary Sculpture Society and the Associated Student Government at the University of Arkansas. The work is made of wood, steel and gravel and will be illuminated from the inside at night.
