A plastic slab that was pulled from the base of one of the two silos at Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies sits next to the former silo on Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at the Lowell plant. The company took down the silo at the plant that caught fire last week so they could break apart the plastic to make sure the fire is completely out.
