Dana Mathias, right, and Eleanor Kabala, both volunteers from the Benton County Master Gardeners, help plant native species in a new rain garden on the grounds of the Bentonville Public Library on Thursday November 14, 2013 in Bentonville. The rain garden, which improves water quality by filtering storm water runoff before it enters creeks and streams, was made possible by a grant from the Illinois River Watershed Partnership.
