Courtesy Shiloh Museum Orville J. Hall Jr. Collection Orville J. Hall Jr. was born in Fayetteville in 1935 to Orville J. Hall Sr. and Janie Haigh Hall, their only child. The elder Hall taught agricultural economics and later business economics at the University of Arkansas. The family lived near the university campus in a home on Lindell Street built just before Orville Jr. was born.
