Fifth grade students from Bayyari Elementary School in Springdale listen to Hannah Saunders, 16, in the role of Lementing Ladies, Friday April 18, 2014 at the Headquarters House on East Dickson Street in Fayetteville. Living history actors
portrayed various parts of the Civil War  in six stations for the students as part of the commemoration of the Battle of Fayetteville. The grounds will be open to the public 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday with lectures, music, story telling and the re-enacted Battle of Fayetteville at 2 p.m. as��described by Ian Beard, in the role of Col. Marcus LaRue Harrison, the officer in charge of Union troops at the battle. The battle was waged April 18, 1863.
