Griffin Hagler, right, tour manager for the AT&T “It Can Wait” campaign to increase awareness of the dangers of texting and driving, instructs Emily Baire, a senior at West Fork High School, on the proper use of a simulator Tuesday at West Fork High School. Hosted by the Environmental And Spatial Technologies Initiative at the school, students were able to collect information, watch a video and experience the simulator. The simulator will visit NorthWest Community College in Bentonville today.

The Cass Job Corps color guard lays a symbolic coffin into a grave dug next to Harrison Fire Station No. 1 after a Peace March starting from the Lyric Theater in downtown Harrison during the Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission’s sixth annual Candlelight Vigil & Unity Arts Celebration on Tuesday. The empty coffin was buried as a symbolic gesture burying hatred and racism.
