Athletes from Madison, Washington, and Benton counties competed in track and field events, bocce, and powerlifting. The event kicked off with a law enforcement torch run and parade of athletes.

Shelby Harper, volleyball athlete, right, hands a box to Manuale Watkins, basketball athlete, while loading frozen chicken products into vehicles Saturday, April 12, 2014, at the Broyles Center in Fayetteville. In partnership with the University of Arkansas, Lift Up America and the NWA Food Bank, Tyson Foods donated 35,000 pounds of protein to more than 70 local agencies and food banks. Student athletes helped unload and load chicken products into vehicles.
