Cyclists participating in the Highway 71 Classic, an annual bike ride and fundraiser supporting the nonprofit group the Bicycle Coalition of the Ozarks, head out southbound on U.S. 71 in Fayetteville Sunday morning. The race offered participants three routes, which included a roughly 75-mile ride from Fayetteville to Mountainburg; a 35-mile route with a turnaround at Brentwood Park on the White River; and a 57-mile ride through Devil’s Den State Park and along Lake Fort Smith.
