A young alligator is the center of attention Wednesday for children at the Rogers Public Library, including Walker Ferguson, front row third from left, and Michael Latham, fourth from left, during a program on reptiles. Kory Roberts, a biology teacher at Rogers High School, and Alan Bland, Beaver Lake park ranger, brought the alligator and a selection of snakes to show during their one-hour program. Children who wanted to touch a live prairie king snake got to at the end of the program.
