Friends Ashley Whiteley, left, and cancer survivor Diane Usrey, both of Springdale, take a lap Friday while participating in the Washington County Relay for Life at Shiloh Square on East Emma Street in Springdale. The event is organized through the American Cancer Society and features 12 teams of walkers who had raised about $15,000 at the start of the event through their pledge have a team member walk throughout the night until 6 a.m. today.
