Work continues Monday afternoon on the “flyover” bridge connecting northbound College Avenue to the Fulbright Expressway in Fayetteville. The new section will allow traffic to proceed over southbound lanes of traffic on College Avenue before connecting with westbound Fulbright Expressway. Emery Sapp & Sons of Columbia, Mo., is the contractor on the $6.3 million construction project. The “flyover” is slated for completion in mid-2014.

The three-day program provides high school students, primarily of Hispanic or Marshallese backgrounds, with the knowledge and encouragement to seek out higher education opportunities.
